| Description | The Harken Advance Tech Progress Capture Pulley is a compact double pulley with an integrated cam designed for efficient progress capture in rescue and rope access systems. The built-in cam eliminates the need for separate prusik loops, simplifying mechanical advantage setups while improving speed and reliability during rescue operations. Manufactured from Aerospace-quality anodized aluminum, the Advance Tech provides exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and smooth performance. High-efficiency sealed ball bearings ensure consistent function even in harsh environments where lower-grade pulleys may fail. Designed for professional rescue teams and technical rope users, the Advance Tech supports rope diameters from 7 mm to 12.5 mm and integrates easily into small mechanical advantage systems used in technical rescue scenarios. Key Features
Haul System Strength: Cam Rating 4:1 Haul System Strength - Typical 4:1 system rigged using the Advance Tech with cam engaged on the 4th leg and a standard double Pulleys. The system utilized the becket on the Advance Tech Pulleys. System was pulled end to end using carabiner holes.
Cam Rating 1:1 Haul System Strength – This configuration is not recommended due to the relatively low strength results, but are included in these instructions to provide the necessary guidance when developing rigging methods. Single rope strand is rigged through the engaged cam and over one sheave. The force is applied between the end of the rope and the Pulleys carabiner hole.
